Chevron Products Company announced that beginning July 14, 2008 it will market its Chevron and Texaco Commercial and Industrial lubricant product lines – in the United States and Canada – under the Chevron name.  The action is designed to allow the company and its marketers to leverage the strengths and the market equity of both the Texaco and Chevron sub-brands, which will now migrate to the Chevron master brand.  The outcome will be a single, comprehensive Commercial and Industrial lubricant portfolio combining the best technologies from the Texaco and Chevron product lines while at the same time reducing product complexity.

 

   The Hurt Company will begin transition to the new Chevron product names on July 14, 2008.  Hurt will continue to ship current products until all existing warehouse product is depleted.  There may be a short transition period before all new product names are fully implemented.
